Gudskul is an Indonesian educational platform that aims to maximize learning opportunities in the arts through collaboration and sharing. Built by three art collectives ruangrupa, Serrum, and Grafis Huru Hara and supported by each collective’s experience and expertise, Gudskul is a shared art space and contemporary arts ecosystem that organizes art-related classes, events, and exhibitions.

Gudskul Collective Study is a one-year program that intensively discusses and works through a collective point of view as a form of working method in art and culture.

In 2021, ba-bau became one of the 8 participating collectives in Gudskul Collective Study #4, together with Pangrok Sulap (Malaysia), Load Na Dito (Philippines), Omni Space (Indonesia), Salikhain Kolektib (Philippines), Scutoid Coop (Taiwan), Yayasan Tonjo Foundation (Indonesia), Bishkek School of Contemporary Art (BiSCA) (Kyrgyzstan).

As part of Gudskul Collective Study #4, we will be presenting our work at Documenta 15, Kassel, Germany.
