Finally, we’re off to 𝕕𝕠𝕔𝕦𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕒 𝕗𝕚𝕗𝕥𝕖𝕖𝕟! The journey of 𝘎𝘶𝘥𝘴𝘬𝘶𝘭 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘪 𝘒𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘬𝘵𝘪𝘧 𝘉𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 4 (also called 𝗟𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗯𝗵*) is coming to an end. To wrap up our eight-month-long “school”, a new chapter begins this June, as we participate in documenta fifteen in Kassel, Germany. Since October last year, we have been doing regular "meetings" under Gudskul’s program, or what we call majelis (Indonesian for council meeting) every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, to learn about collectivism and each other. Eventually, La Tabebh gets to say ‘gute Fahrt’ (German for safe travels) as we can now say goodbye to zoom calls and welcome further collaboration when we reunite this summer. 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧
𝗟𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗯𝗵 is made up of eight collectives coming from four different time zones (GMT +6 to +9); formed through the fourth edition of 𝘎𝘶𝘥𝘴𝘬𝘶𝘭 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘪 𝘒𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘬𝘵𝘪𝘧, an annual study program on collectives hosted by GUDSKUL** and held online during the pandemic (2021-2022).
Scattered in different places and virtually found, 𝘓𝘢 𝘛𝘢𝘣𝘦𝘣𝘩 has been engaging the whys and hows of a transnational/interlocal "collective of collectives" through self-organized meetings (majelis), unorganized hang outs (nongkrong/tambay), lectures, and resource-sharing (lumbung).
From June to July, 𝘓𝘢 𝘛𝘢𝘣𝘦𝘣𝘩 will participate in documenta fifteen in Kassel, Germany as part of GUDSKUL's knowledge as school/school as exhibition, called 𝘚𝘦𝘬𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘩 𝘛𝘦𝘮𝘶𝘫𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘳 (sekolah = school; temu jalar = meet, networking).
